Ann Wigley

British author. She has written two pony stories, although only one of these has been published in the UK. Both have a ghostly theme and are good reads, although
Tears For a Tall Horse (published in the USA) is slightly marred by its weird amalgamation of British and American, no doubt the result of a ham-handed editing attempt to ensure the book appealed to American children. Hopefully the author will write more pony books in the future.

Collectors Info:
Tears For A Tall Horse which was published in the USA is hard to find here in the UK and unless you are very lucky in finding it on an auction site, will have to be bought from there. Red Horse Haunting is quite easy to track down in the UK, but not so widely available elsewhere. Both books are also available in German language.
